About Avedis Detox & Recovery

Avedis Detox and Recovery is a safe haven for people 18+ who can no longer use drugs and alcohol as their safe haven. We offer a full continuum of care. Programs include detoxification and residential addiction treatment in Tarzana, CA. We also have outpatient care, like PHP, IOP, MAT, and OP treatment in our LA County drug rehabilitation program.  Chemical dependency can happen to anyone, and we strive to provide the safest and most welcoming environment possible.
If you’re reading this, there is a good chance that you or someone you love is struggling with a substance use disorder. To us, this disease is personal, contagious, and damages the person with the substance use disorder and their loved ones. This can ultimately lead to tragedy that affects all who are connected to them.

Our founder, George Sarkis Degirmendjian founded Avedis Recovery after losing his brother to substance use disorder. Helping people find their way out of the depths of addiction is our life’s work, passion, and life fulfillment.

About Avedis Recovery

Avedis Recovery is a full-spectrum alcohol and drug treatment center in LA County. We offer medical detox, residential care, partial hospitalization, and outpatient treatment to people whose lives have become unmanageable due to drug and alcohol use.

Addiction Treatment Starts Here

The health and interpersonal consequences alone are not enough to discourage a chemically dependent person from using drugs and alcohol. The desire to quit is not enough without the right environment and the right people. Most people do the best they can to live a full life. But along the way, some get lost in drugs and alcohol. Our dedicated, experienced staff has a diverse array of experiences and takes pride in their ability to connect with others and help guide them in recovery.

Using mind-altering chemicals to feel “normal” changes brain chemistry over time. When the brain’s distribution of feel-good chemicals gets disrupted, this makes it harder to feel joy from the things that should bring them to life. The sooner a person begins the addiction recovery process, the sooner they can start to enjoy the things they once loved.

Mental Health and Addiction Treatment

Addiction can have a crippling effect on those with substance use disorders and those around them. It can lead to health problems and behavior concerns. But there’s always hope, and light, even in the darkest hours. Avedis Recovery helps regain control of life and get on a better path. Our long-term ongoing support programs helps our clients stay on their best path.
